Daniel Smith on bassoon & Julian Jackson on harmonica were billed as 'Extremes Of Jazz' when they appeared with the Tim Lapthorn Piano Trio at The Cliffs Pavilion, Southend ... however, they delighted the audience with some fine straight ahead jazz as they pushed jazz instrumentation to its limits.
